Predictive validity
Predictive validity is the correlation between an assessment score and a later job outcome — performance rating, promotion, retention, revenue. It is the single most important quality of any hiring or promotion tool: does this predict what we care about?
Why it matters for HR leaders
Unstructured interviews correlate around r=0.20 with performance. Well-designed simulations exceed r=0.50. The gap is the difference between guessing and knowing.
How Leadify uses it
Leadify validates every scoring rubric against downstream performance data with client partners, and publishes correlation ranges by competency in the methodology page.
